Need help with Arcanum Wilds?

Arcanum Wilds is an augmented-reality creature-collection game for iPhone. You play a wizard whose Sight has just opened. Magical creatures live hidden in the world around you, and the app lets you see them, walk to them, and bind them as companions. You pick one of eight wizard guides who narrates the journey in their own voice.

Yes — the entire game is playable with touch alone. You trace runes directly on the AR view with your finger; no extra hardware is required. If you've crafted a simple DIY wand from any pen or stick, you can also use camera-based tracking for the original feel, but it's optional.

Open the Map screen. Creatures appear as pins around your current location — usually within a 200–500 m radius. Walk toward a pin until it's close enough to enter AR. Spawns rotate roughly every 15–30 minutes, and rarer creatures appear in different terrain (parks, water, dense buildings).

Bond quality is determined by how cleanly you trace the binding rune. A Good Bond is forgiving — most attempts qualify, and the creature joins your bestiary. A Masterful Bond requires a more accurate trace and rewards extra Sight XP plus a unique cosmetic flourish on the creature's portrait. The creature is still bound either way.

Guilds are called Seekers' Circles. Tap your profile → Circles → Browse to find one accepting new members, or accept an invite from a friend. Once joined, you can validate guildmates' discoveries (which helps them progress) and coordinate Grand Rituals together to bind the largest creatures.

Bonded companions need a habitat in your Vault to remain at full vitality. Without one, vitality slowly decays over a few days. Open Vault → Companions → tap the creature → Assign Habitat. If you haven't conjured a habitat yet, you can generate one from the Vault screen using the "Conjure" button.

No. Arcanum Wilds uses location only when the app is in the foreground and actively being played. We never collect location in the background; iOS shows a blue location indicator the entire time the app reads your position. You can revoke location access at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy → Location Services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Open the app → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Confirm the prompt and your account, creatures, and habitats are removed from our servers within 30 days. If you can't access the app for any reason, email hejtmi@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and we'll handle it manually.
